In the small town of Friars Point, Mississippi, a weekend was shattered by a string of shootings that claimed the life of 14-year-old Marterion Magsby. On Sunday, March 22, 2026, Magsby was fatally shot on Sheriff Ridge Road in Coahoma County. The violence did not end with his death, as several other children were wounded in what authorities believe were related incidents.
