On February 14, 2026, Marijon Ludwig, a 46-year-old Caucasian female, was found deceased in a residence in Fenton, Missouri. The circumstances of her death were quickly deemed a homicide by law enforcement.

Investigators identified 69-year-old Billy Moman as the suspect in Ludwig's death. It was determined that Moman had been staying at the home where Ludwig's body was discovered. Authorities tracked the suspect to a Holiday Inn Express & Suites in the nearby town of Festus.
