A sense of loss permeated a West Baltimore community following the death of 15-year-old Tyonna Pierce, a Black/African American female, who was fatally shot in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 15, 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. inside a home on the 2100 block of Druid Hill Avenue.
Responding to reports of a shooting, Baltimore Police officers arrived at the residence to find Pierce suffering from a gunshot wound.
