In the early evening of February 26, 2020, tragedy struck in West Baltimore when 31-year-old Melissa Brown, a Caucasian female, was found suffering from gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the 1600 block of W. North Avenue. Police located Brown nearby in the 1800 block of N. Carey Street with wounds to her chest and neck.
