On a Thursday morning in Meridian, Mississippi, the life of DeAndre Duff was tragically cut short. The date was January 22, 2026, when police responded to a call around 10:30 a.m. regarding a man who had been shot in the 2900 block of State Boulevard. Upon their arrival, officers found Duff at the scene, where he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.

The investigation into the death of DeAndre Duff quickly led to a suspect. Shortly after the shooting, 24-year-old Adrian Wallace turned himself in to the authorities and was taken into custody without incident. He was subsequently charged with murder, and his bond was set at a formidable one million dollars. Preliminary information released by investigators suggested that the fatal shooting stemmed from a family-related confrontation, leading them to believe it was an isolated incident with no further threat to the public.

As the investigation continued, a second individual was implicated in connection with the homicide. Henbria Kelly was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Her bond was set at $50,000. The Meridian Police Department expressed its commitment to a thorough investigation and to bringing justice for Duff and his loved ones. While the arrests of Wallace and Kelly marked significant progress in the case, authorities have indicated that the investigation remains active.
