In the autumn of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace of a Meridian, Mississippi neighborhood, leaving a scene of tragedy that would deeply wound the community. On the afternoon of October 12, 2021, 23-year-old Kodi Davidson Jr., a male, along with two other young men, Jacoby Jones, 21, and Hunter Card, 24, were shot and killed inside a residence on 17th Street.
