In the early morning hours of Sunday, April 28, 2019, tragedy struck in Meridian, Mississippi, ending the life of 30-year-old Tajh Hikeem Forbes, Sr. Born on February 9, 1989, Forbes was a father of seven who was reportedly making efforts to turn his life around and give back to his community's children. He was fatally shot while sitting in his car near a makeshift bar located at 20th Avenue and 17th Street and was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen and arm.
