In the summer of 2025, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of violence in a fast-food restaurant parking lot in Meridian, Mississippi. Anthony McDonald, a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot on Saturday, June 21, outside the Burger King located at 2100 North Frontage Road.
