In the fall of 2021, the life of 19-year-old Ga'Kobie Kamari Jones, a Black male from Meridian, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. On October 12th, Jones was at a residence in his hometown when violence erupted, leaving him and two other young men dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The other victims were identified as 23-year-old Kodi Davidson Jr. and 24-year-old Hunter Card.
