In the late hours of Sunday, February 1, 2026, the life of 19-year-old Kemauri Ziquan Blount of Monroe, North Carolina, was tragically cut short by gun violence. The fatal incident unfolded around 11:10 p.m. at the Brooke Pointe Manor apartment complex on Fairington Drive NW in Concord. When Concord Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a chaotic and heartbreaking situation with four individuals having sustained gunshot wounds.
