In the late evening hours of December 30, 2025, a dispute that began inside a package store on Jonesboro Road SE in Atlanta, Georgia, tragically escalated, claiming the life of 26-year-old Larricus Alexander. Alexander, a male, was inside the establishment when an altercation broke out. The conflict spilled outside, where it culminated in gunfire.
Responding to a call at approximately 8:51 p.m., Atlanta Police officers arrived at the scene to find Alexander suffering from a gunshot
wound. He was immediately transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Alexander succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The Atlanta Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting. Investigators are in the process of reviewing surveillance footage from the package store and surrounding areas in an effort to identify the individual or individuals responsible for Alexander's death. Authorities have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation. As of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly named.
