On the afternoon of January 10, 2026, Vincent Turner, a 39-year-old man, was shot and killed in an apartment on the northwest side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred around 5:10 p.m. in the 3500 block of St. Thomas Lane. When officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Turner with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
