On a summer afternoon in Indianapolis, a dispute over money between roommates escalated into deadly violence, claiming the life of 23-year-old Daniel Johnson Jr. The tragic events unfolded on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the Country Club Apartments on the city's south side. An argument inside an apartment on Sandra Lane led to a shooting that left Johnson fatally wounded and two other individuals injured. A child who was present in the apartment at the time was fortunately unharmed.
