In the early morning hours of January 18, 2026, the life of 36-year-old Kiara Jenkins, a Black/African American female, was tragically cut short in Chicago, Illinois. A devoutly religious woman and mother of five, Jenkins was reportedly leaving her home in the 6400 block of South Drexel Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood when she was attacked.
