African American female Antonique Alexander, age 16, was shot in the head inside a home in Chicago's West Garfield Park on the evening of Friday, May 13, 2022, in the 4300 block of West Adams Street.
Officers found the 16-year-old girl lying face down and unresponsive around 6:50 p.m., and she was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
She lived about a block away, on Monroe Street.
