On May 6, 2014, Joshua Dupree Beason was shot and killed on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, New York. Born on April 13, 1987, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Joshua was 27 years old at the time of his death. He was an African American male who had graduated from Bennett High School in 2005 and attended Erie Community College.
