In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Buffalo, New York, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 21-year-old Jorge Garcia-Leon. On February 12, 2023, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Garcia-Leon was inside a nightclub on the 100 block of Michigan Avenue when a dispute escalated into a fatal shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a victim of multiple gunshots. Two other men, aged 49 and 59, were also wounded in the incident but survived.
