Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 5000 block of Parkway Alley in Fairfield, Alabama, during the early morning hours of Sunday, November 30, 2025. Calls reporting a person down drew law enforcement to the scene at approximately 1:17 a.m., where they discovered a 29-year-old male, Ja’Oree Marquel Brown-Allen, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite the response from Fairfield Fire and Rescue, he was pronounced dead at the location.
