On the evening of December 1, 2025, a violent tragedy unfolded at an apartment complex in Las Vegas, Nevada, claiming the life of 29-year-old Christina Kelly. Metro Police responded to reports of an illegal shooting around 8:30 p.m. on the 4200 block of Arville Street, near Flamingo Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered the female victim in the carport area of the complex, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined that she had been holding a child at the time of the attack, with a baby carrier found nearby on the ground. Detectives recovered 13 spent cartridge cases from the scene, indicating the severity of the assault.
The alleged perpetrator, identified as 41-year-old Richard Watson, fled the scene immediately after the shooting, taking the couple's two young children with him. This triggered an urgent search by law enforcement, who were eventually able to locate and apprehend Watson hours later, recovering the children safely.
