On the morning of December 24, 2025, a violent domestic disturbance unfolded at a residence in the 100 block of Mallow Grove in West Bexar County, San Antonio, Texas. Bexar County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene shortly after 6:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Evaristo Reyes Gomez Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
