Ricardo Contreras, 36, a Hispanic/Latino male, was found just before 3 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, lying outside a West Side business in the 1200 block of Historic Old Highway 90 near Acme Road with a gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bexar County Medical Examiner later identified him and ruled the death a homicide.
