On October 11, 2016, Darrel Gentry, aged 29, was shot and killed at the Rosemont at Highland Park Apartments in San Antonio, Texas. The incident began when Gentry was engaged in an argument with his girlfriend. During this altercation, Michael Enoch approached and allegedly confronted Gentry, reportedly threatening to shoot him. Enoch then fired two shots, hitting Gentry once in the chest. Gentry was found dead at the scene when police arrived.
