On June 24, 2016, 20-year-old Zealand Swisher was shot and killed during a fake drug deal in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred on TPC Parkway when six individuals orchestrated a plan to rob the occupants of an apartment by staging a drug transaction. During the robbery, two of the male suspects opened fire, leading to Swisher’s death. The suspects fled the scene in two getaway vehicles, but they were eventually apprehended by law enforcement in the weeks following the incident.
