Sarah Beckstrom, a 20-year-old White female member of the West Virginia National Guard, was fatally wounded in a brazen ambush while on patrol in downtown Washington, D.C., just blocks from the White House. On the afternoon of November 26, 2025, she and fellow Guardsman Staff Sgt.
