In the early morning hours of Saturday, November 1, 2025, a sense of unease pierced the quiet of Karlstad, Minnesota. Kevin Sele, a 57-year-old resident, made a frantic call to 911 at approximately 1:00 a.m. In his distressed report, he told the dispatcher that an unknown individual had forced their way into his home on state Highway 11, assaulted him, and had taken his firearm.
