Gavin S. Spieker, a 21-year-old male from Minneapolis, was shot in north Minneapolis in the first minutes after midnight on September 11, 2016, near the area of 31st and Colfax avenues North. Police were alerted after gunfire was detected and, when officers arrived, they found him suffering from a gunshot wound in the street.
