On May 17, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m., 23-year-old Kevon Ishmel Ewing was fatally shot at the Dale Street Station of the Metro Transit Green Line in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ewing, a resident of Mounds View, was found on the platform with multiple gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at Regions Hospital.

Investigations revealed that the shooting stemmed from a confrontation between Ewing and a group of individuals who recognized him as an opposing gang member. Surveillance foo ...
