Alvin McDowell, a 25-year-old from Buffalo, was tragically killed on January 1, 2017. He was the second homicide victim in Buffalo that year, with his death occurring on McNeeley Way. Despite efforts by his mother, Lucrecia Watkins, and local authorities, his case remains unsolved. Watkins has been active in seeking justice for her son, posting flyers and encouraging witnesses to come forward.
