Yolonzol Green Jr., age 24, was fatally shot on December 6, 2014, in Buffalo, New York, marking one of the many tragic homicides in a particularly violent year for the city. Green's death occurred on Burnie Lane and was part of a larger surge in homicides that plagued Buffalo in 2014, a year that saw an alarming increase in gun violence.
