Margarita Pineda, a 20-year-old woman from Pasadena, Texas, tragically lost her life on February 23, 2017. She was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Manuel Casique Ochoa, at her workplace, Tierra Caliente Refresqueria Y Micheladas. The incident occurred when Ochoa stormed into the restaurant and demanded everyone leave before opening fire. Margarita was shot twice and pronounced dead at the scene, while her sister, Sonia Pineda, was injured but survived.
