White/Caucasian female Mildred Jo Ann Knighten was 15 years old when she disappeared from Pasadena, Texas in October 1972. On the evening of Friday, October 20, she left her family’s home with an unidentified friend, planning to visit her sister in La Porte. She never arrived. Early the following Monday morning, October 23, her body was discovered in an industrial area off Texas 225, lying in a ditch near a pipeline construction site.
