On a summer evening in Buffalo, New York, 17-year-old Ronnie Scott left his home to join some friends. That evening, on August 12, 2014, would be his last. While on Shirley Avenue, a car approached and shots were fired into the group. The gunfire that erupted was not intended for Ronnie, according to Buffalo Police, but he was struck. Another individual was also hit but survived the attack. Ronnie was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
