In the quiet streets of Buffalo, New York, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of 41-year-old Shane Jackson. On the evening of March 30, 2025, Jackson, a Black male, was found inside a vehicle on Cambridge Avenue, the victim of a targeted shooting. The initial discovery was made by officers responding to what appeared to be a car accident around 7:30 p.m. The car had crashed into a tree, but the scene held a more grim reality.
