In the autumn of 2025, the life of 18-year-old Daviahn Lathan was tragically cut short in Lansing, Michigan. On the afternoon of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, around 2:30 p.m., Lansing Police Department officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Georgetown Boulevard following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Lathan with a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate response and medical assistance from the Lansing Fire Department, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
