In the crisp autumn air of an October afternoon in Aurora, Colorado, the life of Ricardo Luciano Cardenas, a 48-year-old Hispanic/Latino man, was tragically cut short. On Friday, October 24, 2025, police were called to the vicinity of East 6th Avenue and Del Mar Circle just after 1 p.m. There, lying in a front yard, they found Ricardo suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
