On a cold February night in 2002, the life of 33-year-old Jeffrey Allan Hehr, a White male, was tragically cut short in Aurora, Colorado. His final hours were spent at Jason's Billiards on Alameda Parkway. What transpired after he left the establishment would end in a mystery that has endured for years. Security cameras at the billiards hall captured a detail that would become a focal point of the investigation: shortly after Jeffrey exited the building, three other individuals were seen
leaving as well.
The evening took a grim turn when police were called to 15368 East Alameda Parkway to investigate an assault. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jeffrey in the driver's seat of his 1988 Pontiac Grand Prix. He had been shot twice, succumbing to his injuries at the scene on February 17, 2002. The initial joy of a night out had dissolved into a scene of violence, leaving behind more questions than answers.
In the years that followed, the investigation into Jeffrey's murder has remained open, a cold case in the files of the Aurora Police Department.
