In a tragic turn of events, a man who had recently moved his family from Colombia to Aurora, Colorado, in search of a safer life became the victim of a violent crime spree. On November 10, 2021, Carlos Julio Albarracin Albarracin, a 34-year-old male, was shot and killed at the Florida Station Apartments.
