In the spring of 2006, a celebration of the Cambodian New Year at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Aurora, Colorado, turned into a scene of tragedy. On the evening of April 15th, Christopher Nguyen Le, a 22-year-old Asian male, was enjoying the festivities with his friend, Quoc Dinh Phan. The night was shattered by the sound of gunfire as occupants of a dark-colored truck pulled into the hotel parking lot and opened fire with two different guns.
