In the early hours of a Monday in Aurora, Colorado, a sequence of events unfolded that would end in tragedy. On February 22, 2021, 47-year-old Nathan A-Kol Bright, a male resident of the city, was found deceased inside his apartment at the Bristol Village Apartments, situated in the Tollgate Overlook neighborhood. The initial call to authorities was for a medical emergency, but upon arrival at approximately 9:40 a.m., first responders discovered that Bright had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
