Jacob Dindinger, a 20-year-old Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from Tucson, Arizona, tragically lost his life in the line of duty on July 18, 2021. He and his partner, EMT Cassandra Moreno, were working for American Medical Response (AMR) Southern Arizona and were staged near a house fire when the incident occurred. A gunman, identified as Leslie Scarlett, approached their ambulance and opened fire, shooting Jacob in the head and Cassandra in the arm and chest.
