William Ingram, 36, male, was shot while sitting in a vehicle on the 0–100 block of North Kilbourne Avenue in Chicago’s West Garfield Park on Monday, October 6, 2025, around 4:30 p.m. Responding officers found him gravely wounded; he was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police said someone opened fire on the vehicle before fleeing, and authorities did not immediately release any information about a motive. As of the initial reports that evening, no one was in custody, and investig ...
