George Anderson, aged 30, was shot and killed on June 6, 2013, in Chicago's Chicago Lawn neighborhood. The shooting occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. while George was standing on the sidewalk in the 6300 block of South Francisco Avenue. According to police reports, an unknown male approached him on foot and fired several shots, striking Anderson multiple times.
