Stefan Toliver, 15, a Black male, was walking back from a neighborhood store on Detroit’s west side on the morning of October 6, 2025, when a confrontation spiraled into violence. Near Littlefield Street and West Chicago, close to Schaefer Highway, a blue Lincoln SUV rolled past and unleashed a barrage of 28 to 30 shots from an assault-style rifle and a handgun.
