Cardarius De’Andre Polk, 33, a Black male, was shot and killed in Memphis on the evening of Thursday, October 9, 2025. Officers with the Memphis Police Department responded around 5:40 p.m. to the 700 block of Lester Street in the Binghampton neighborhood, where they found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
