Juan Castillo, a 41-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on December 24, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. Castillo was arriving home at the Cedar Creek Apartments on Steve Road near Prescott and I-240 in South Memphis when he was approached by Eric Alao Alvarez, a 20-year-old man. Alvarez ordered Castillo out of his car and shot him multiple times, resulting in Castillo's death. Alvarez then stole Castillo's 2012 Kia Sorrento and fled the scene.
