On March 7, 2017, 39-year-old Christy Lynn Cook was last seen in Pickens County, Alabama, as she departed for a trip to Tennessee. When she failed to arrive at her destination, concerns arose, leading to a search effort. Her truck was subsequently located in Etowah County, but her whereabouts remained unknown.
