Aajion Wright, a 16-year-old Black male from Rochester, New York, was killed on the night of October 9, 2025, in the city’s 19th Ward. Near the 100 block of Warwick Avenue—close to Kirkland Road and off Chili Avenue—police were called at about 11 p.m. for reports that someone had been shot. When officers reached the area, they found him in a driveway between two houses, badly wounded by multiple gunshots. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, but he died shortly after arriving.
