Kavon L. McClung was found shot on the far east side of Indianapolis on October 19, 2025, after police were dispatched to the 4200 block of Ponza Court around 2 p.m. Officers arrived to discover McClung suffering from gunshot wounds in the Three Fountains Cooperative East area near East 42nd Street and North Post Road, and he was pronounced dead shortly after Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services reached the scene.
