In the early morning hours of Sunday, October 19, 2025, a family dispute in a Fern Creek, Kentucky, apartment complex escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 30-year-old Darryl Burnett Jr. The male victim was found by Louisville Metro Police at the Brentlinger Park apartments with gunshot wounds to his head and leg.
