Julius Reape, a 20-year-old Black male from Anchorage, Alaska, died on October 20, 2025, following a shooting incident inside a Walmart Supercenter in Midtown Anchorage. The fatal event occurred just before 2 p.m. on Monday, October 20, when Anchorage police responded to reports of gunfire inside the store located on A Street near Benson Boulevard.
